This ad holds you back

Scandic Go is a new hotel concept from Scandic, created for the trips where you want to experience the city. You get a wallet friendly, slimmed down hotel experience with everything you need and the possibility to pay for what you want – like breakfast or services.

The two-part launch campaign is created from the insight that there are many things in everyday life that hold you back from what you want to do – but Scandic Go doesn’t. On the contrary, the hotel is an enabler, where good pricing and a smooth, safe experience take trips from the planning stage to readily booked whether you’re a solo traveler or a whole crew.

This is why we chose to be self aware and point out our ads for what they really are: unwanted interruptions in what we really want to do, regardless if it’s a TikTok scroll or watching a YouTube video. This is contrasted against a message of how Scandic Go works the opposite way, in a visual and auditory world that amplifies feelings of movement, warmth and energy.
